See Woodland Hills for yourself
Four seasons
A different kind of beautiful, every time you visit
Woodland Hills doesn't have an off-season. Each time of year brings its own mood โ and guests who return in a different season often say it feels like a completely different place.
- โ๏ธ Winter โ The forest goes quiet under a blanket of snow. Lace up the snowshoes, warm yourself by the wood stove, and fall asleep to absolute stillness. A rare kind of peace.
- ๐ฑ Spring โ The brook fills and rushes, the trees bud green almost overnight, and the whole property feels newly alive. Morning coffee on the deck hits differently in spring.
- โ๏ธ Summer โ Long evenings around the fire pit, lazy afternoons in the screened gazebo, and cool dips in the brook. Yes โ there's a perfect natural swimming spot right on the property.
- ๐ Fall โ The surrounding forest ignites in amber, orange, and gold. Crisp air, crackling fires, and some of the most stunning scenery New Brunswick has to offer.
๐ The brook runs year-round โ crystal clear and cold in every season. In summer, a natural swimming spot on the property makes for one of the most refreshing moments of any stay.

"When I die, I hope heaven is exactly like this cabin!! It was so peaceful, comfortable and adorable that we skipped a lot of what we had planned and just stayed. You can hear the brook nearby and have your own tiny piece of woods with trails, fire pit, grill, and hammock. It was perfect!"

"This was one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in. The pictures don't do it justice! The tiny home feels private and secluded, but is a 7 minute drive to groceries, restaurants, and breweries. Katherine has thought of everything!"

"About 10 minutes from everything you need, but far enough to feel very private. The outdoor area is fantastic with string lights to the fire pit and a gazebo that cuts the wind. They included a hand drawn map of the walking paths. The brook is wonderful to listen to with a morning coffee."

"Exceeded all expectations โ a totally peaceful and beautiful getaway. Close to everything (Rothesay, Saint John, Airport) but feels so private and secluded. BBQ, firepit, picnic table, outdoor chairs, bench by the brook. A total dream."

Meet Katherine
Woodland Hills has been a labour of love since 2018. Katherine was born and raised in the Saint John area and has spent years building this property into something guests genuinely fall in love with โ driven by a passion for alternative living, tiny homes, and the belief that simpler spaces make for richer experiences.
Every detail on the property โ the hand-built bridge, the cocoon swing above the brook, the trail map drawn by hand โ reflects care that guests feel the moment they arrive. Katherine's goal has always been the same: let people experience what it truly feels like to slow down, disconnect, and reconnect with the forest.
With over 200 five-star reviews and guests who return season after season, Woodland Hills has become one of the most loved tiny house stays in New Brunswick โ and Katherine wouldn't have it any other way.
